Dr. Curtis Quattlebaum


Dr. Curtis Quattlebaum re-joined CPTA in the fall of 2016 after almost a 2 year stent with an orthopedic physical therapy group in Charlotte, NC. Dr. Quattlebaum is a 2011 graduate of the Medical University of South Carolina. He holds his Doctorate in Physical Therapy from MUSC, a Masters in Health Education/Promotion from Mississippi State University, and a Bachelors in Physical Education/Athletic Training from the University of South Carolina. He has worked as an athletic trainer in various professional, college, and high school athletics and continues to hold his Athletic Training Certification through the NATA. He currently holds the title of Head Athletic Trainer for CPTA.

Dr. Quattlebaum has a great interest in sports orthopedics, strength & conditioning, and general orthopedics due to his background in athletic training. He is currently certified in Dry Needling & FMT kinesio-taping techniques. Dr. Quattlebaum has a specific interest in golf performance and has achieved his level 1 certification from the Titleist Performance Institute. This allows him to assess a person’s body mobility, flexibility, and strength to determine any problems that may occur while playing the game of golf. Dr. Quattlebaum has experience in various orthopedic injuries which include post surgical, chronic injuries and other orthopedic conditions.

Dr. Quattlebaum has future plans to become an Orthopedic Certified Specialist while continuing his sports medicine education with the Titleist Performance Institute. He currently reside in Charlotte with his wife Brittni. He enjoys live music, playing golf, watching sports, and exploring the city of Charlotte for good entertainment and food.
